Jason Lam

Jason Lam is a policy analyst for IISD’s Canada Energy Team, working on industrial liabilities in Canada.

Prior to joining IISD, he worked at Project Drawdown, a U.S.-based nonprofit focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Jason has also worked at the Pembina Institute and in the engineering consulting sector in both Manitoba and British Columbia. Jason has a bachelor’s degree in biosystems engineering (environmental specialization) from the University of Manitoba, as well as a Master of Engineering Leadership in clean energy engineering from the University of British Columbia.

Jason resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and, in his spare time, can be found spending time with friends and family, learning guitar, building plastic models, or playing video games when he can.
